How the crochet attachment works

The connecting string is the attachment point for your stylist’s crochet technique. These are pre-separated extensions, rather than a sewn weft or clip-in track. Share the attachment details with your stylist before your appointment so they can plan the braided base, sectioning and placement.

Miracle Knots describes the installation style; the finished result also depends on the base and how the loose hair is arranged. For boho braids, confirm that this short-string construction suits your stylist’s chosen method.

Choose your pack weight

• 50g: One smaller pack for accents, a top-up or adding to your planned total.
• 100g: One pack to combine with others for your chosen style.
• 300g: Three 100g packs in the same selected shade and length.

For example, a stylist’s recommendation of 200g means two 100g packs; 300g means one 300g bundle or three 100g packs. Three 50g packs contain 150g, not 300g.

Full-head requirements depend on length, section size, installation method and desired fullness. Confirm the total grams with your stylist before choosing your quantity. A finished hairstyle image does not show the amount supplied in one pack.

Questions before you choose

Is Yaki Straight the same as silky straight hair?

Yaki Straight has a subtle textured finish inspired by straightened natural hair. It is the smoother of KCG’s two textured-straight crochet options; Kinky Straight offers a fuller blowout effect.

Which black shade should I choose?

Natural Black has a softer, naturally dark appearance. Jet Black has a deeper, more uniform black finish. Lighting and screen settings can affect the shade you see.

Is this the same as loose braiding hair?

No. This product comes in pre-separated sections with a short connecting string. Loose bulk braiding hair does not necessarily have that attachment. Choose the construction your stylist needs, as well as the texture you love.

What is included in the 300g option?

Three 100g packs of hair in your selected texture, colour and length. Installation is not included, and 300g is a quantity rather than a guarantee of coverage for every hairstyle.

Care for your Yaki Straight hair

Detangle in sections from the ends upwards, supporting the attachment. Cleanse and condition carefully, avoid heavy oils and minimise unnecessary heat. Use heat protectant when using heated tools.
